The food was amazing the service was awesome!!!
I love this place!!
I got the shrimp fajitas during lunch. They made special accommodations for me. It wasn't very busy surprisingly! The aesthetic of the place is really beautiful! I love the high bar booths. They are really a two seater comfortably!!!
The food was amazing my aunt have the veggie sandwich. My coworker had a meat sandwich.
They really liked the food. The sauce that comes with the fries is really great!
The only thing I didn't really care for was the tortilla it's corn tortilla with is my favorite but it's super thick.
The drink was a freshly juiced cantaloupe drink AMAZ-BALLS!!!
BTW, they give a piece of candy at the end! Nice touch! -

My husband and I were in the neighborhood for a class we attended on a random Saturday morning. We were craving brunch, so we looked up nearby spots and found Flip it LJ Diner. We walked in around 11:25/11:30 am and this small neighborhood eatery was already packed. We found two seats at the bar and placed our order.
I got the quinoa omelette and banana french toast (I was hungry!), and my husband got the pecan waffle breakfast. The hostess was nice enough to let us move to a booth once it opened up, so we were able to enjoy our brunch with a bit more space.
The service was cool and the food was tasty. If I find myself in the area again, I'll be sure to return (during off hours). :-) -

Small diner tucked away between other restaurants on Park Road.
The menu has tons of breakfast options and they also have a specials menu with spanish chorizo dishes and other unique stuff!
I tried their chorizo hash platter-- their chorizo was very yummy along with the potatoes and scrambled eggs it came with. The banana french toast was so good!!! Would definitely order again.
I did not have a problem getting a seat, but the place is pretty small and cozy. Great service! -

Perfect spot for a filling and flavorful breakfast! It is a pretty small space, but luckily we did not have to wait for a table. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick, while still being personable. I ordered the "huevos divorciados," which was two fried eggs on tortillas with black beans and two different salsas. There was a fiery salsa verde and a "jealous" salsa roja. I preferred the salsa verde, but overall the dish was very flavorful and satisfying. The fried plantains added a nice sweetness to the dish.
My friend recommended the pork and cheese papusa and it was delicious. We also got home fries on the side and I wanted to take home a giant jar of the sauce that came with it! I poured it over the rest of my meal it was so good! My friend had the chicken torta which was absolutely massive, would recommend sharing or only getting it if you're really hungry.
Overall, this breakfast was comforting and flavorful. Would definitely recommend it as fuel for walking around DC! -

The prices are cheap for most items; however, the quality is average for the waffles, and below average for pancakes. Nothing special about the place other than it's reasonable prices for breakfa
